i remember it all as if it were a meal ago.

last week one night, i awoke only three hours after falling asleep in a heavy sweat. i remembered hearing my mother calling me frantically, and i "awoke" in my old house, hobbled into my parents room, and they were both in bed. my dad looked petrified, scared out of his mind. my mom was crying.

i walked toward their bed, my dad pointed toward the large fish tank in their room. my mothers head was an ornament in the fish tank, even though she was also in bed. immediately i felt overwhelming fear... a child-like fear, if you can relate. but i awoke just then. very, very disturbing stuff.
